Gurgen Simonyan talks about how the current government failed in most of its endeavors and how most of the progress that was made is mostly theater. Claims that a lot of the changes are easily reversed, by anyone from the previous regime, if they get back into position of power. He criticizes the government for failing to bring in foreign professionals from abroad and the diaspora to help us lustrate the ex-regime remnants, rewrite the constitution, and overall clean up the country. He also scolds the so called Russian Armenian patriots who were nowhere to be found during the 2020 war, yet now they want to do this “nation saving” revolution.

For those who don’t know, Gurgen is definitely preparing for a political career, and there is a chance that he will run in 2026. He is very well educated and knowledgeable. With that said, it’s hard not to agree with a lot of his opinions, however knowing where he is coming from, which is political ambition, I can see some maximalist demands as well. He lists great ideas, but just listing ideas and even implementing them isn’t as easy or with guaranteed results that he describes. However I think him, Sanasaryan, and the new coalition of those 4 pro Western parties absolutely deserve a chance to be in the parliament, and even in leadership.
