So security’s just optional now? Feels like a no filming sign is doing more work than actual guards here.

A group of Slovak YouTubers spent hours inside a major arms manufacturing complex in Dubnica nad Váhom, moving through underground tunnels and reaching stored military vehicles without being stopped, according to videos shared online and reported by Pravda.

In one video, the group documents a six-hour journey through abandoned underground corridors, passing decaying offices and storage areas before reaching a hall with military vehicles.

The company confirmed multiple breaches, with 16 people detained in past incidents after forcing entry. Police are investigating.

This isn’t an isolated case — similar intrusions have been reported elsewhere in Central Europe.

The incident raises concerns about security at sensitive defence facilities, especially amid recent attacks on arms industry targets across Europe (including arson in Czechia and suspected sabotage cases linked to Russia).

Opposition party Progressive Slovakia called the situation a disgrace and urged Defence Minister Robert Kaliňák to resign, with MP Tomáš Valášek calling it a mockery of intelligence services. Defence Minister Robert Kaliňák acknowledged the issue, calling such explorations a new trend among young people and warning people not to enter military sites as they are breaking the law.
