Ora c’è una specie di nuovo edificio dove una volta c’era il vecchio campo da calcio.
Metà della città è ora piena di macchie di terreno marrone, molte delle quali hanno la forma di edifici che un tempo erano lì. Hanno rimosso gran parte delle macerie, sia per nascondere la distruzione alle immagini satellitari, sia per costruire nuovi edifici al loro posto, e certamente non per le persone che vivevano lì. These brown patches look even more depressing than ruins.
I’m not surprised that Russia would heavily invest money for reconstruction in an area they bombed and invaded as a form of propaganda. Never mind that there are probably areas in mainland Russia that desperately need that money for development, but likewise, propaganda comes first before Russia’s people.
