      If you want anything with taste, go to the imports isle in Meny. It’s 5x more expensive than everything else, but at least it’s something with taste. Meny #1, but way too expensive indeed.

      Bunnpris? Firmly bottom tier, with bad selection and sky high prices.

      Spar is pretty nice. Many of them have ferskdisk, fiskedisk and ostedisk. The loser who whine about poor selection here on Reddit seems to mostly frequent small Bunnpriser as far as I can see.

      They are all terrible price fixing gougers.

      I’ve died on this hill before and I am not going to do it again right now.

      Norway has the worst selection I’ve ever experienced coupled with the most asinine prices.

      It’s really my only serious gripe about this great land.

      With the exeption of Meny and Obs (and possibly Mega), they’re all firmly in the shite but expensive category. The last 3 are in the expensive and not quite shite category.

      At least in my perspective meny has the most variety in our variety lacking country, for that reason it is my favorite grocery store, but yeah it is expensive. :c

      Prøv sammenlign feks Mega Skøyen med feks Xtra Høvik, holy moly for en kvalitetsforskjell

      Created by the consumer whose fault it is that there is so little variation within and between norwergian grocery stores

      Bunnpris should have is own bottom tier below all the others.

      Meny and mega for their selection all though prices are high, their on sale selection is typically quite good.

      Rema just below with worse selection but slightly lower pricing.

      Bunnpris and joker is open on Sundays and basically the same store. Pricy and bad selection, but always there and open.

      Rest is meh, except for kiwi, which has absolutely no selection, and I would only use if nothing else exists.

      Replace Bunnpris with Kiwi in the top tier, add Joker to the ‘nice to have’ tier, and move Bunnpris to the ‘how and why does this still exist?’ tier.
