“Wealth will always trickle down” zeggen deze mensen altijd. Awel, ja? Wanneer dat dan? Ik heb het nog niet zien gebeuren.
>“As representatives of entrepreneurs and family businesses, we are deeply concerned about the ease with which wealth taxes are presented today as a solution to all our challenges”
Just the first sentence is a straw man fallacy: Nobody said that wealth tax is a solution to all challenges. Please, rich guys, try to defend your rich position without manipulation.
Mensen met geld willen niet belast worden… hmm, well sucks to suck, pay up
You need to do it in a smart way or the super rich will just create shell companies in Luxembourg to hide their wealth (pref. European level). A capital gains tax / tax on rental income it a lot easier to accomplish. But keep in mind that the county should stay attractive for investments. We need to encourage Belgians to invest in the country. Too much capital is rotting away on our spaarboekskes (savings accounts). If we would introduce a capital gains tax, capital losses should also be a tax deduction (imho).

400 ondernemers can go suck a dick
