No one is falling for this again.
Maybe this time will be different…….. but we know it wont

Yeah, we want to do it. Can we?
Get ready for what’s coming!
I’ll believe it when I see it. Same as always.
Darragh o brien talking absolute shit as per.
Preaching to the choir.
Someone tell the dossers in the Dail its the employers they need to say that to.
Meanwhile America and Israel are still bombing the shit out of Iran for no reason (Or should I say for control of the oil and the strait of Hormuz) this causing this situation.
America is still flying war planes into and out of Shannon to this illegal war, how fuel dependent are those planes…
Private jets are still being flown around by millionaires no shires given.
But we the worker ants must conserve fuel by driving less, yeah well when those at the top have the same restrictions asked of them and do it and the EU condemn the genocidal war criminal netanyahu and his puppet trump then maybe us plebs might listen but until them honestly they can all fuck off.
But if we stop driving in and out of work, how’s the chronic traffic congestion problem going to support itself.
Can we just leave a few abandoned cars in strategic locations? Maybe agree to stop randomly at times?
This government lack a fundamental understanding of market economics: supply / demand. As seen by their housing policies…
A WFH mandate would reduce demand and alleviate some of the stress that is on supply. Subsidising fuel costs (by removing taxes and levies) will boost demand and further stress supply.
Guess what the government is doing? Derp…
Despite what you’d read on this sub, we have one of the highest levels of WFH in the world..
Looks like those clowns in the Dail did it again.
What a fool. Has this man not given any consideration to the fortunes of the well heeled commercial property owners?!?Â
Not to mention that sweet sweet work culture that we all love so much.Â
If you do a WFH job, even one day a week, proving that your work *can* be done from home – the government and your employer should be encouraging you to WFH indefinitely until further notice. It should be COVID-level. Except, unlike that, you can still socialize and do pretty much every other thing that makes up your life – including hoping in the car if you need to.
The benefits for feul preservation, the environment, congestion etc if people with 9-5, mon-fri office jobs just WFH for the forseeable would be huge.
