Qualcuno me ne può parlare?

Football hooligans trying to use “Jew” as an insult against a club they don’t like.

Some football clubs have “Jewish reputation” in the hooligan world due to them being either founded by Jews or coming from areas where once many Jews lived. In some areas this is traded as insults, in other the hooligans embrace the “Jewish identity”. In this case, both major rival clubs in Łódź (Widzew and ŁKS) are known as “Jewish” in Poland, while in the city hooligans call that the other side.

“They call us Jews, nobody is ashamed of that.” – Cracovia Kraków.

There are two soccer teams in Lodz and they cycle through insults with each other. The ones outside my building involve the other team being gay.
