People need to realise that these sextortion scams are run by organised, professional criminals. They deliberately target men, exploit their vulnerabilities, and use fear to pressure them into paying. This isn’t a personal mistake it’s calculated manipulation by people who do this for a living.

This happened to me years ago and they said they were going to send it to my family and included my “brother” that was one of my mates, I didn’t care to much so I told them to send it away! Never heard back from them

Horrible stuff. Wouldn’t work on me though, it would be more of a punishment to the viewer to see my naked body than it would be to me.

Back in the day I thought it would be fun to ‘cam 2 cam’ on one of the chat roulette sites. We’ll my lucky day i got matched with a lovely young woman. I done the basic checks that she wasnt a video.. but turns out she was in on it all.
Anyway they had screen shots of me and used any details I gave to t4ack down my Facebook. Family/ friends etc.
After hearing the threats to share the pics I decided to gamble with them and told them to do it – and that everyone would just find out i had a big knob etc.
They never shared, but christ it was stressful.
Look out for yourselves, your kid brothers, cousins etc because they could make some silly decisions under that kind of pressure

Best one was got an email from myself saying I was compromised.
Actually fucked with me that it was from my own email, although I had nothing to hide.
Never responded and later found out it was a spam indirect mail that somehow managed to look like it came from my Gmail.

The sad thing is the only reason this is even a phenomenon is because, for all our pretences of liberal progress, we live in a deeply puritanical society in which most expressions of sexuality are considered deeply shameful.
