I’m no fan of the royal family but from everything I know about Charles I’m pretty sure he hates almost everything Trump represents

Did some googling of their past meetings/any tensions:
When they met in 2019, a scheduled 15-minute tea stretched to an hour and a half, with Charles doing most of the talking, and the dominant topic was climate change. Trump later admitted Charles is “really into climate change.”
When Trump claimed in January that non-U.S. NATO troops had “stayed a little back” from the frontline in Afghanistan, a message from the palace was conveyed to the White House outlining the sacrifices of British troops. A few days later, Trump then described UK soldiers as “the greatest of all warriors.”
Trump has described Charles as “a friend,” saying “I like him. I always liked him as a prince. He’s a good man, a great friend”
Hopefully Charles has some sway maybe? God knows. Still think this is a mistake anyway, going into the lions den (lazy toddler lions having tantrums)
Based on everything we know about Charles’ political views I think it is a reasonable assumption that he feels the same way most of us do about the orange degenerate. But of course he played nice when he met Trump, that’s part of his job.

The problem of course is that nobody actually believes King Charles would ever stand by this orange idiot.
Charles would probably tell him to send his sons to war like he did with Harry but then trumps family has a history of avoiding fighting wars going back to his grandfather
Charles and the entirety of the Royal Family hate Trump with a passion so I doubt this would be the case
I’d be secretly raging if I was Charles and couldn’t tell him what I really think because of political neutrality.
Charles should cancel the state visit. Make up a health excuse if he has to.
This will end with some scandal – Trump will set him up for some publicity blunder.
It’s interesting that there’s a slight difference in how families with prestige and ‘old money’ view the world versus the corpo billionaires we have now

Obviously I doubt Charles would have, but considering he’s doing nothing to rebuke Trump and is allowing his state-sanctioned visit to proceed, he’s not exactly doing much to publicly indicate any disagreement with Trump’s policy

Doubtful and while I’m not a big fan of the royals I’m sure that Charles is smart enough to realise it’s not on his or the countries best interests to get involved in an illegal war.

As much as people do not like the Royal Family speaking out on Politics I do wonder in this case the opposite would happen.
For example if Charles released a statement that made it clear that he was against the war in Iran would most people support the message.
