Il Regno Unito ha detenuto 76 bambini “di cui è contestata l’età” nell’ambito del programma “uno dentro, uno fuori”.

Come on now, these are just teens who claim to be under a certain age, but the Home Office believes they are probably lying and older.

They’ve already made an incredibly dangerous journey on their own, risking their lives. At worst, a genuine 15- or 16-year-old might then spend some time in a relatively safe detention centre before being returned to France, a safe country. 

The alternative would be to treat anyone who claims to be a child as a child. Which would mean adult males living with actual children, going to actual schools…and would also incentive young people to make the dangerous crossing…
 

This is just the latest tactic to stop them being deported
