Sono stati trovati esplosivi vicino al gasdotto in Serbia che trasporta il gas naturale russo in Ungheria, hanno riferito i leader dei due paesi il 5 aprile.
"Le autorità serbe hanno trovato un potente ordigno esplosivo, insieme all’attrezzatura necessaria per farlo esplodere, nell’infrastruttura critica del gas che collega Serbia e Ungheria," Il primo ministro ungherese Viktor Orban ha detto il 5 aprile in un post su X.
L’esercito serbo ha riferito di aver scoperto un ordigno esplosivo del peso di circa 4 chilogrammi vicino a Kanjiza, una città a sud del confine serbo-ungherese.
Il ministro degli Esteri ungherese Peter Szijjarto ha accennato al coinvolgimento dell’Ucraina, parlando del presunto complotto "si adatta allo schema" dei precedenti attacchi ucraini alle infrastrutture energetiche russe e dell’arresto del transito del petrolio attraverso l’oleodotto Druzhba.
Kiev ha negato qualsiasi coinvolgimento nell’incidente. "Respingiamo categoricamente i tentativi di collegare falsamente l’Ucraina all’incidente… L’Ucraina non ha nulla a che fare con questo," Lo ha detto il portavoce del ministero degli Esteri ucraino Heorhii Tykhyi.
"Molto probabilmente si tratta di un’operazione sotto falsa bandiera russa nell’ambito della pesante interferenza di Mosca nelle elezioni ungheresi." ha aggiunto.
Djuro Jovanic, capo dell’Agenzia per la sicurezza militare serba (VBA), ha respinto le speculazioni secondo cui la Serbia sta cercando di attribuire la colpa all’Ucraina per conto di un "terzo."
"La disinformazione suggerisce che l’esercito serbo e i suoi membri agirebbero per conto di qualcun altro o di terzi trovando esplosivi ucraini e incolpandone l’Ucraina. Questo non è vero" ha detto il funzionario serbo.
Il colpevole deve ancora essere identificato.
Belgrado posseduta "informazioni secondo cui un individuo appartenente ad un gruppo di migranti, che aveva ricevuto un addestramento militare, stava progettando di effettuare un sabotaggio contro le infrastrutture del gas," Jovanic ha detto.
Il gasdotto Turkstream trasporta il gas russo attraverso il Mar Nero fino alla Turchia, da dove viaggia attraverso i Balcani verso l’Ungheria e l’Europa centrale.

Was there a tip? Were they patrolling along the pipelines and accidentally found them?
