> According to the ABC News report, March 2026 data suggests that for the first time in the ongoing conflict, Ukraine launched more cross-border drone strikes than Russia. This marks a significant milestone, highlighting a critical shift in aerial warfare dynamics. It indicates that Ukraine’s rapidly expanding domestic drone production capabilities have grown enough to outpace Russia’s long-range UAV barrages, allowing Kyiv to increasingly take the offensive and bring the war to Russian territory.

The Russians entered this war under the rather childish delusion that they could bomb everyone else and no one would bomb them. They sowed the wind and now are reaping the whirlwind.

To be fair, Russia was blinded in late 2025 by being cut off Starlink, which was pretty stupid of them to rely on a Western system knowing that they can be cut off at anytime.
Russia recently launched 16 low orbit satellites, Rassvets, to replace Starlink and are aiming . Ever since then, the Russians are planning to launch 140 more satellites before the end of 2026. Ever since the launch of these 16 satellites, the Russian have continued their drone strikes against Ukraine. This is probably why Zelensky recently pleaded with the US to destroy these satellites, by trying to convince Trump that Russia is using these newly launched satellites to assist Iranians. The US, Russia, China are the only ones capable of taking out these satellites and would open up a Russian response to Starlink satellites. I doubt Trump would take that risk for Ukraine.
