Ho appena guardato questo video e sinceramente adesso ho un po’ paura. In sostanza, David Shahnazaryan, capo del Servizio di sicurezza nazionale negli anni ’90, pensa che Putin organizzerà rivolte sanguinose e lancerà l’intervento militare per liberare la strada a Syunik (visto che gli americani sono occupati in questo momento) e riportare l’Armenia nella sfera della Russia. Voglio dire, è ovvio che proveranno qualcosa, ma questo tipo di scenario mi ha innervosito non poco. Sono curioso, ragazzi, cosa pensate che Putin abbia intenzione di fare?

I mean what exactly is he going to do? It’s not that easy to arm Armenians in the country and start a civil war and have them kill each other, where would the opposition party get weapons strong enough to start a civil war. Putin is just going to use soft power to get his way, I think its going to be economic blockade of some sort or he will meddle in rigging the election. Say what you want but Putin right now is in observation mode when it comes to the whole region, with Trump claiming he will “wipe out civilization” the only thing Putin can do is wait. If hypothetically Putin does what you claim he will do which is grab Syunik then this is something way beyond Armenia where Russia, Israel and the US are working together to bring down Iran and by then Armenia will just move out of the way and shouldn’t risky any civilians or soldiers. Iran will not allow Armenia to change the borders, but if Russia steps into Syunik then Iran has no say so as it will cause problems, plus Pashinyan doesn’t want to get too involved in case things don’t go as planned, he doesn’t want to jeopardize relations with Iran.
