It’s a shame there are so many that are seemingly incapable of being able to acknowledge that it’s a cheap, quick, and effective ways for us to become as independent as possible so we can have unilaterally focus on solving the remaining issues surrounding these energy sources.
The fact there is still voices for us to throw money at north sea drilling is absurd. We should be throwing money on every car park to have solar panels and every home to have battery and solar systems installed.
The “crazy” Greens turn out to be 100% right again.
Britain? Or British households?
Do consumers save, or do clean energy producers just make more money?
Don’t get me wrong, I’m 100% behind using green energy to unhitch Britain from global fossil fuel markets. I’m just unclear if the current system is allowing us to enjoy the full benefits of what we have achieved so far.
£7m a day between 28.6m households isn’t that much. Around 24.4p a day per household or £90 a year or about 5% of an average yearly gas and electric bill. I thought it would be much more than that
