People thinking trade missions are holidays are clearly a few watts short of a lightbulb. We need to be diversifying trade and getting ourselves away from reliance on the USA.

Ok, any reason – considering 5 ministers were going – that they could have done without Martin on this trip?

“Taoiseach says tanker off Galway coast may be bought by someone else if it does not land”

    I see faith…..

Also says “”It is unconscionable, it is illogical, it is difficult to comprehend.”

Same could be said for the children’s hospital no?

Again he is trying to deflect instead of negotiating.

His party are doing damage to themselves…..

Genuine question, why doesn’t the Government request the Gardai to start putting points against the protesters licenses, 6 points per day for dangerous driving. Caught protesting twice, license gone?

Seems very easy to do and certainly more impactful than threatening to tow etc.

Losing a license has a much bigger effect on a driver than the cost of fuel.

Martin is coming out of this smelling like $h1t. The man dealt with Trump as best he could on Paddy’s day and I was quite proud of him representing Ireland on the back of it. But my God has he dropped the ball on this one.
Heard today the Aussies have halved taxes on fuel and are giving free public transportation to people. This is how you lead. Decisively and quickly. He’s stuck in the mud now it seems.

  7. Why? It’s not like himself or the government are doing anything other than acting as stewards.
