Monaco durante la settimana del Gran Premio sembra un mondo completamente diverso.
Il Gran Premio di Monaco non è solo una questione di corse: è l’atmosfera, la città, il caos e, in qualche modo… la bellezza di tutto ciò.
Le strade diventano una pista.
I balconi si trasformano in posti VIP.
E il porto si riempie di yacht che sembrano alberghi galleggianti.
Anche spostarsi diventa parte dell’esperienza: tutto rallenta, il traffico è intenso e l’intera città è in fermento 24 ore su 24, 7 giorni su 7.
Alcune persone vanno per la gara.
Alcuni puntano sull’energia.
Alcuni vogliono semplicemente vedere Monaco nella sua forma più folle.
Personalmente, penso che la parte migliore sia semplicemente passeggiare per la città durante quella settimana: ti senti come se fossi dentro qualcosa di iconico.
Quindi sono curioso:

More everything to be finished and that everybody leave
Don’t get me wrong I like the atmosphere but it’s a nightmare to live in this time of the year
I was anti Monaco having the race. Just visited this week, I get it now. It’s an event that transcends the racing. That said, my hope is smaller
Cars with new whacko regulations leads to a better racing product.
That’s a really honest take — and probably the most realistic one. From the outside it looks glamorous and exciting, but for people actually living there, it must feel like your whole routine gets turned upside down for a few days. Easy to enjoy as a visitor, very different when it’s your everyday life.
