Magyar is a former member of the current ruling party. So this is a “hope but verify” kind of situation.
I hope this is the start of something new for Hungary but wouldn’t be surprised if it ultimately was not.
On the plus side we know for sure that either way a Magyar victory probably made Trump very angry…so some good news.
Yes, having a neighbouring country who wants the best for Ukraine and is willing to support you through these hard times is like having an estranged family member return to the ‘fold’. The ugly past is now behind us and everyone looks forward to a cooperative future.
Finally some good news!
Lets hope the new leader of Hungary isn’t another one of Putins puppets in disguise!
I really hope Magyar is a substantial improvement at least.
