  1. Hungary needs a constitutional amendment to undo what Orbán has set in stone. This political capital must be put to use, because if it isn’t, people like Orbán will return.

Nothing at the moment, but will be interesting to see how the other far right forces react to this change, and if they start a purge of pro russians elements to avoid the same pitfalls.

  3. Not much. Tbh. For Union might be better but let’s face it. Slovakia still can veto. France will have elections, there are country’s like Poland with in any moment can be changed to the right side.

It’s good for Hungary but on the end of the day Europe is not in a good state. It’s very devided.

The EU needs to get rid of vetos and ensure actual, meaningful cooperation between states without this kind of obstructionism being possible at all.
Otherwise it’s only a matter of time till someone else fulfills Orbàn’s role.

More unity, giving the finger to Putin and Trump. Good things.

Investigators and prosecutors should start working extra time to judge his crimes

I hope fur Hungary and EU that this new leader is better than orban and that he keeps his word. Also, that he is not a wanna be dictator like Orban.

Don’t forget that Orban still has a huge political and financial power so he is capable of sabotaging the well being of the country if this will result in his re-election.
I am very surprised how lightly he has accepted the results of the election so I am sure he has a plan in mind.

Orban was one man, the giant propaganda/misinformation apparatus around him remains and keeps poisoning hungary and the eu. People are too quick to assume this is over. The hard work of rooting out the corruption and russian collaborators starts now or Hungary risks tilting back towards moscow in the next election. Putin doesnt stop corrupting at the loss of a single pawn.

Happy fun times unless his successor is a complete melt also.

And if the Turkish president doesn’t fall into line then we have a shifted problem potentially. Ugh screw this timeline. It sucks!!

On the plus side UK is trying to squeeze into the EU again. And hope no one notices 😏

What does this mean for Europe? One less ally and bootlicker for the Russian government.

Does it means Putin has set his mind on more valuable tools ?

  12. I’m wondering how well they’ll handle the transition. The trip to Poland is there for a reason. Sadly our government failed to re-do what has been done by right wing govt because they didn’t get a supermajority. I bet Tusk has some good lessons to share.

When one gets rid of that sore boil on their ass, one can finally sit peacefully.
