He was friendly, loved sports, and dreamed of peace, this is how eight-year-old Bohdan Serheiev was described by his homeroom teacher, Tamara Mahlovana. The boy was killed on the evening of April 14 on a playground during a drone attack on Cherkasy. According to Ihor Fesun, director of the emergency medical service, doctors fought for the child’s life for more than an hour, but could not save him.
Local resident Valentyna Hulianytska, who witnessed the tragedy.
“The others (the children – ed.) scattered in different directions, but he was holding two balls, trying to keep them from rolling away. The blast threw him – I don’t know – about two meters into the air, and then he fell. I called an ambulance. Unfortunately, nothing could be done. He was badly cut by shrapnel.”
Tamara Mahlovanam his homeroom teacher added:
“He loved playing with toys here with the other children, they built things with Lego, made little houses. Such a wonderful, bright child.”
May his family and friends remember him with love.

Such loss is not necessary. What will it take for us to learn to share this planet in peace?

Why does no western news outlets cover these atrocities in any meaningful way. Why endless coverage of the Strait of Hormuz? Western media is obsessed with Donald Trump. Ukraine deserves news coverage so everyone can see the atrocities.
