The insidious fashion in which it seeps in via a steady, almost polite drip via social media, targeted at young people who are often lacking in the sophistication or savvy to clearly identify or process what they’re watching. Usually dressed up as commentary, irony, or “just asking questions.” Or behind a facade of cartoonish jappery designed to mask a much more sinister undercurrent.
Not overtly monstrous, but quietly corrosive, the kind of thing designed to nudge boundaries, to normalise what ought never be normal, to groom an audience into complicity by degrees.
And that’s precisely why it demands confronting – not with half-hearted nods or selective outrage, but with the full force of clarity and refusal. Anything less is just rearranging the prejudices while pretending you’ve cleaned house.

Look, I know a lot of people are going to criticise her for this, but I think it might actually have a pretty valid and rational logic understating it. Tommy Robinson isn’t liked by many people, but there are others who would otherwise not have a voice that he is speaking for. These are ranting brain damage sufferers. They are racists. Racists who are politically homeless. Who else represents the sort of idiotic, braindead, pointless little lives? No one. Reform will take their votes, but they’ve pushed R. Tommie. Sharon simply wants to speak her mind, which I believe speaks in some kind of black, oily morass. So please, don’t think harshly of her, just because she’s an awful person with awful opinions.
