Trump’s Epstein Files Distraction War has further highlighted the absolute priority the UK has for breaking free from fossil fuel dependence.

Has Dr Jesus ever thought of minding his own business?

    3. flyhmstr on

and that’s the quiet part out loud again, though he trimmed a bit “windmills put oil extractors out of business” which is the problem those paying him have.

    4. jmeade90 on

The sole issue he has about wind turbines is because, in his mind, they “ruin the view” after an offshore wind farm was constructed near his golf course in Scotland.

Of course it’s the most unsurprisingly petty of reasons…

    5. hime-633 on

We all know it is because he doesn’t like the view from his golf course.

God, how I wish we could all just ignore him.

Vast majority of UK’s electricity in 2026 has been renewables. He can fuck off.

    7. Imagine another president of the USA allowing UK energy policy to live rent free in their head. He’s cooked

    8. Only if an enemy nation decides to send a ship full of drones into the area and attacks them individually. Until then they’re just fine.

So the guy famous for bankrupting businesses, who is aiming to bankrupt his country is giving business advice? We best take heed.

Someone needs to give him the brand new Windmill Peace Prize (preferably a gold trophy the size of his head) and he’ll probably change his tune.

    11. Sinocatk on

So the UK has wind turbines that make electricity and then less reliant on oil and somehow that’s bad?

Imagine if he heard about Iceland and their 100% renewable electricity generation.

    12. The_Pixel_Knight on

We’ll do renewable energy, you fuck up the world for a quick buck

    13. PootMcGroot on

Those “windmills” are at this minute providing 58% of the power for the entire UK, Don.

    14. raven43122 on

      That’s not going to work.

We know how much clean energy we generate.

Octopus were paying customers 12p during the bank hoilday.

Decouple gas from electric and the price cap will plummet

At this point who cares about what narcissistic nonce with dementia says?

    16. Qcumber69 on

Well they make a lot of business sense, they cheap to build , run , maintain and you still charge customers ridiculously high amount for the electricity the produce.

    17. GreekVicar on

He’s probably right – there’s only so much flour you can mill before the market is saturated

    18. Cynical_Classicist on

It’s hard to tell if he’s lying or just that stupid. We know that the media won’t call him out on this and will grin over him.

    19. Robbomot on

He still doesn’t know difference between windmills and wind turbines…

    20. Kyr-Shara on

Oh no he won’t get any more bribe jets and fake investment proposals If people use windmills.

    21. ScottOld on

How many windmills did he have at the casino he made go bankrupt?

    22. TheChattyRat on

Put a windmill on every hole of his golf course then his course will be crazy just like him.

    23. hallouminati_pie on

The way he calls them windmills grates me so much, it’s infuriating. It’s like a child speaking.

    24. FrustratedPCBuild on

There are very few windmills in the U.K. now, milling doesn’t rely on water power now. Wind turbines are a better way to generate electricity so you’re less dependent on the whims of tyrants and man babies.

    25. Big-Panda-440 on

They should put a large wind farm next to his golf course so he sees them every time he is there

    26. initiali5ed on

Doing the opposite of what this child raping serial bancuptee suggests is usually good policy.

    27. RDHertsUni on

Wait, Trump installed windmills at all of his previous businesses?

    28. To be fair, going out of business is one of the few things Trump is an expert on

    29. Even-Veterinarian-71 on

Is anybody really listening to the turnip any more?

    30. nerdyPagaman on

Meanwhile we’re going to be paid to use more electricity this summer, and the link between gas and electricity prices is set to be broken.

    31. MiddleAgeCool on

      This is Scotland’s fault.

Since he lost in court and was ordered to pay £225,000 in legal costs when he took the Scottish government to court over eleven offshore turbines that he could see from his golf course, he’s hated them.
