There was this sci-fi book I read when I was a kid where aliens landed in Czech Republic, gave us super advanced technology and thus we became the world’s biggest superpower. Czech became the lingua franca which everyone had to learn. I have no idea what it was called and I can’t remember any other details but tris kinda reminded me of that.
