Eventually there has to be a conversation about how drug gangs are recruiting young boys in deprived areas and grooming them into extremely violent men.
There needs to be harsher sentences (this guy should have never been out on bail in the first place), but there also needs to be something done to confront the problem head on.
I remember from school lads getting brought in when they were 12/13 and I see the same thing now, kids going around on bikes delivering packages, in 2 or 3 years they’ll be doing the deals themselves, and in 5 or 6 they’ll be ‘enforcing’ like this scumbag.
Three guys set a woman on fire in Clondalkin just a couple of months ago, how is there four psychopaths in one area at one time without some sort of motivating factor? And these are just the ones we know about at this time.
