At the very least we can all hope it will not be the start of anything worse.

In other news: the final votes are being counted and it seems that Orbán got punished even harder than previously thought. His party has 53 seats, Tisza has 140. It’s a massacre.

As for Magyar? Personally, I’m cautiously hopeful. There will be things we’ll be disappointed about, but such is the nature of politics. What gives me hope is that by and large, Tisza has a lot more expectations towards Magyar than Fidesz had towards Orbán and are a lot more willing to hold him accountable.

Regarding our relations with Ukraine? We also hope that it’s a new start.
