Quindi sono arrivato a Tromsø. La mia borsa no. Ho i vestiti con cui ho volato, compresi gli scarponi da trekking. Niente punte perché sono nella mia borsa grande.
the north end of the island doesn’t have a sidewalk. Might wanna stay away from that end. This time of year I’d walk towards the south end and then cross over the middle of the island back to town.

I would rather recommend doing the hike on the south tip of Tromsø island rather than north because there is no sidewalk on the north tip from Hamna to Skattøra, and Skattøra is just an industrial shithole.
But it is possible to walk there as long as you don’t walk on the E8.

The south of the island is also nice by Telegrafbukta. The east side you will walk along the centre, no point walking on the west side as there is mostly just a walkway along the car road. But you can see flights landing there, and the flights fly really low along the water which is really cool to watch.

If you’re in Tromsø you’d know you don’t need spikes right now.

There is a really warm and early spring right now for being mid April.
Regular foot wear and clothing suited for 5°C is going to be fine.
