      Any TD doing this should have to declare themselves publicly. I would like to have the right to not vote for a paedophile apologist in an election.

      The TD who was accused of fraternising with a Russian agent was never publicly identified

      EDIT: May have been a senator.

      The fact that both Harris and Martin have come out and commented like this, suggests that they arent current members of their parties anyway.

      As I assume the first thing their Whips done was to contact everyone and ask them.

      That does narrow it down bit so.

      Why hasnt a journalist emailed every TD and simple asked the straight out if its them?

      You would think that Irelands large political parties would have internal regulations on what its elected members can do. Like giving a character reference should definitely be on that list, or having unpaid debts or pending lawsuits of a particular nature.

      They should name and shame the COI minister and church who didn’t follow protocols with him while they’re at it. I wouldn’t let anyone darken their door.

      Again, Micheal Martin had right gas with a child sex trafficking pedo in March, I highly doubt anything will come of this unfortunately

      Anyone been given a character reference in a court case like this has to stop. It shouldn’t make any difference what your boss or coach thinks of you
