I hate these SAVAGES that do this. I don’t care and I’m not sorry. It is not wrong to hate people who constantly harm animals.
There’s no argument to be made that this is essential to preserving culture. Its pure scumbag behavior.
First of all, sulky racing is pretty clearly within the remit of traffic Gardaí, especially the kind depicted in the picture.
Second, you don’t need Gardaí to enforce animal law. The legislation is written to allow people appointed by councils. But Gardaí are needed to support these people. What we need is a national animal control department that takes control of local council dog wardens, horse pounds and dog pounds and has Gardaí seconded to it for the more belligerent animal owners.
The fact that the government overlooks this constant abuse of animals is appalling. Rules and accountability are needed for these animal abusers.
It’s a rural pursuit in the name of culture don’t ya know, boi
yes lads just one more taskforce and it’ll all be fixed. Just one more taskforce guys, get a taskforce going and itll be all good.
It‘ll come sometime that animal rights activists, having freed all the bunnies from laboratories and all that, creep about fields in the dark like SAS chaps, to shoot these distressed horses rather than see their terrible lives continue.
Yeah, I’m sure that’ll make those concerned really think about their actions…..
Theres merit in this suggestion imho
Nothing will change unfortunately. This country simply doesn’t give a shit about animal welfare.
The truth is uncomfortable so they ignore it, same story over and over again
