This just shows you that they are at the peak of technology (taking 29h to restore a database *cough*)

They just don’t give a fuck. There are so many people looking for jobs right now that they don’t need to bother with anything.
Moreover, more and more companies are constantly trying to recruit foreigners from outside of the EU since they are cheaper and can easier be exploited. So they hire some guy from India or Morocco instead of you since they will work for way less money. Globalization is really good and really bad at the same time

So sorry to hear that Full Name.
You should reply to them though using the same way of writing.

“ insert generic apology that I don’t mean but pretend to mean”

Luxtrust is not a good company to work for anyway, and this just cements that fact.

Or you could… just move on.
It’s awkward rejecting people, especially when there are many candidates. you can’t have a frank conversation with each person and give them feedback and not have it devolve into some sort of mudslinging with a % of people hence why its automated.
The automation clearly broke, but there is zero disrespect in it.

I mean do you really wanna work for a company that makes such errors anyway? This email alone shows you that working there would be less than ideal.

Sorry Full Name that the Job-title did not work out.
On a side note: I hope you find an amazing role elsewhere. Where real humans and emotions exist.

You can sue them and they will pay you 50k. Get a lawyer

AI in recruitment really should be banned.

A broken AI automation, not that uncommon. Likely someone twisted the underlying database, hence it just pulls the header.
Not disrespectful, and still better than other companies that just simply ghost you.
With the # of applications a tailored response from a human is likely not possible any longer, as it requires a lot of time per position.
If this reflects well on a Company that is providing critical IT, this is a different story.
