It’s amazing how Hartwall has fumbled the ball with Lonkero. Took three Finnish marketing minded guys and less than 10 years to make Lonkero a thing in North America and eventually it made them filthy rich. Hartwall has been sitting on this brand since the 1950’s and done absolutely f-all trying to grow it to an international thing.
Long story short don’t expect to see this in Vinmonopolet any time soon or ever if it’s down to Hartwall.

I’ve been wondering why is there snow capped mountains on the logo, since we don’t own any (only prehistoric mountains turned into hills/fells). Wish we could purchase Ráisduottarháld!

It is pretty tasty. Still, you guys have ocean access, oil and salmon so I’d be willing to trade places for a while!

As a Dane who have married into a finnish setting; things I feel like came as a massive QoL update: This magical juice, my surname, the noni-freepass (socially accepted “fkthisshitimout”) and of course the responsibility of raising my son into a metalhead. Man… Life is just better this way. Mukava

Gonna tell my Finnish neighbour to get me some on her next trip.
In return I will bake her cookies! Fancy ones, made with real butter! Because she is lactose intolerant and I am still a Swede. (joking. I do make sure all the baked goods she get are customized to her liking because I like her)
