      Why Qabala?

For decades, this city was home to the massive Qabala Radar Station, a Soviet-era “shield” that allowed Russia to peer deep into the Indian Ocean. It was one of the Kremlin’s most vital strategic assets outside its borders.

      The Turning Point:
Azerbaijan’s path to full sovereignty included a bold move that many are remembering today. In 2012, Azerbaijan refused to extend Russia’s lease on the station. When the Kremlin tried to stay, Baku stood firm, reportedly hiking the rent from $7 million to a staggering $300 million a year.
Would Ukrain be interested in renting it?!😅

Why are you saying “the first Caucasian country” as if there aren’t only 3 of them in total?

      Edit:
Did this piss someone off? Lmao. Certainly wasn’t my intention. The title of the post expressed a sense of grandeur that isn’t actually there.
