I don’t understand the point of this. It is such a waste of money and it is not like people will actually go there to pray
why even bother with such a project. funds could be utilized much better in other fields
Literally any other purpose other than a religious one would’ve been a better investment İ feel
Everyone tries to reinvent mosque in some ways. There are a few mosques in my area that look like it came out of roblox
We live in the 21st century and people are still building pointless religious buildings.
Invest the money in the economy, not in religion.
Notice they’ve built more mosques than housing for re-settlers (though so few Azerbaijanis are from Xankendi they shouldn’t be building anything there to begin with). They should have the IDPs live in the mosques I guess.
Why so much empty concrete? Where is the nature? Why does it have to be so sparse? A mosque with trees and nature would be so much nicer.
I’m a Muslim and think this is a terrible idea. For areas where a large and extravagant mosque will clearly be not be used to its full capacity, it is better to reinvest that money into the community and area and build a modest, reasonable capacity mosque instead.
this looks distopian and authoritative. dislike it.
Less mosques, smarter people
I support the idea. An extravagant and big mosque is most neccessary in Xankendi. Because it will have a symbolic function rather than utility. It will be a monument of sovereignty of Azerbaijan over Qarabag.
You guys quickly forget that the region was under occupation for more than 3 decades and some Armenians still have ambitions over Qarabag.
