      I swear I hardly ever see anything about Stephen Fry any more.

      It felt like he was one of the most popular UK celebrities ~10-15 years ago…

      I didn’t realize he broke so many bones in multiple places, that sounds extremely painful

      A broken hip and pelvis at his age is pretty catastrophic tbh. It could give him lasting issues so I don’t think his claim is anything other than fair tbh.

      Idiotically falls off a stage, then sues to steal money because he can’t look where he is going. I hope he recovers and is okay, but this behaviour is so unseemly and pathetic. What a bad look for him

      He turned and walked off a stage where he expected there to be stairs. There weren’t. Can someone explain why this isn’t a simple case of ‘Watch where you’re walking!’?

      He broke his leg, hip, pelvis and several ribs falling 6ft onto concrete off the stage, totally reasonable to sue for personal injury-

      I’m sure there might be a contributory negligence defence from the conference (Fry should have looked where he was going) but in any case there should have been safeguards in place.
