Has existed for some years. Terrible anti-consumer label. This should not be allowed.

Yes, I noticed this eco-score on multiple other packages. I find it very confusing and strongly condemn these anti-consumer practices.
Pure arnaque
Even this is an eco-score I think you are misunderstanding the regular nutriscore as well.
Nutriscore don’t show you how “healthy” a product is.
Nutri score shows you how “good” the product is compared with other products of same category (here ketchup).
Example: a normal energy drink will have a bad nutri score because it has a lot of sugar inside which is bad carbs. A sugar free energy drink will have nutri score A because it don’t have useless carbs from sugar. That means it is a better energy Drink but that don’t make it “healthy” because it is still an energy drink
Nutriscore is not really a thing anymore really, the European Commission decided to drop it’s implementation for all the countries. Because it was confusing due to each category having their own stuff. [So if you have products from France who originaly made this label, they might still have it, but other countries do not have to](https://www.franceinfo.fr/replay-radio/le-choix-franceinfo/enquete-la-commission-europeenne-enterre-le-nutri-score-obligatoire-au-sein-des-27-pays-membres_7073118.html)
A single serving product with an A- eco score ? Oink flap…
Nutri scores, eco scores, it’s all a sham and you should just stop caring about them.
Nutriscore doesn’t mean it’s good to eat. It’s a comparison to other similar products. It was such absurd bullshit and waste of money that it was dropped.
And more importantly, people should know better than relying on a stupid score on a label…
Who uses these?
Just look at the ingredients list ffs
At this point, the only guarantee of not eating shit is to cook everything from scratch.
It’s when you do your own mayonnaise that you realize how much oil you need and how much you’re going to ingest, and believe me, you prefer to do it this way because at least you know what you’re putting in.
Sad thing is that a lot of products that are very time-consuming to make, like the ragù bolognese *could* be helped by industrialization to have a very decent product, but when they pull that kind of shit, yeah, better make it yourself, and eat less ragù bolognese overall…
but, but, … it has tomato in it, it must be healthy ! 😉
