  1. Tl;dr

Austrian police detained a 39-year-old man in connection with an attempted blackmail case in which rat poison was placed in jars of baby food produced by the German brand HiPP. According to the police, a total of five tampered jars of baby food containing rat poison have been discovered in Austria, the Czech Republic and Slovakia. In a 190-gram jar of ‘carrots and potatoes’ seized in Austria, investigators found a total of 15 micrograms of rat poison. A search was recently underway for a second potentially poisoned jar in Austria.

  2. When they say some people deserve to be under the prison, this is the kinda scumbag we’re talking about. Imagine being such a piece of shit that you’re willing to risk the mass murder OF BABIES for your own financial gain.

Hopefully Austria will give him the maximum penalty under Austrian law, and if he gets out after that hand him over to Czech or Slovak authorities.
