This is just another slap in the face of actual career judges and people that are backed by actual education. So completely in line with “we don’t hire experts because they don’t want to put our ideas in motion” credo pis have.

His whole point of rewriting construction is to give him more power, this in itself disqualifies him. Presidential elections here are a goddamn popularity (or unpopularity) contest, focusing much power in one hands is just asking for trouble.

Well, we definitely need to move towards a chancellor-based system and eliminate the office of president, or reduce and significantly limit it.

Its pointless what he’s doing and they all must know that. Even if the right wing win the election next year, they’d win it by small margin, just like nawrocki won last year. So its highly unlikely they’ll get 2/3 of parliament to back up any changes in constitution

He is not a legally elected president. The Supreme Court has never confirmed his election.
I can bet any money that proposal would greatly increase the president’s powers. It’s delusional for Nawrocki to see his slim victory as a watershed moment that is going to re-define the Polish state for decades to come.
