Not that I think he put much, if any, thought into sharing those criticisms, but it does suggest he has a fundamental misunderstanding of what most Britons consider fair and just.

I suppose, though, his target audience isn’t actually most Britons.

Does anyone else find it weird that most media reporting about this attack leaves out the fact he stabbed a Muslim man earlier in the day?

Just an opinion but I’ve never thought that the greens push/ momentum is because of Zack, to me he’s just another populist grifter who’s found themselves at a spear head.

I think there are brilliant folk working hard for an alternative polical party but I believe he’s been the wrong pony to put on show.

  4. I think this is just reality catching up. The greens have a lot of policies and view points that will mean they will lose support when they have more exposure. People have been casting about looking for a new fantasy option to vote for and the Greens have looked like they might fit the bill as long as you don’t look too closely at their polices.

To the surprise of nobody, sympathising with terrorists isn’t a popular political position.

I dont think the greens fully understand just how aggressive the media can be towards a left leaning party.

They should be learning from labours mistakes and fuckin invest in a really fuckin good comms team

This is what happens when the wider population see him for what he is.

Doubling down on it was the icing on cake.

To any late comers, OP is currently posting several times a day about the Greens and has done for the last few weeks, might be a bot account FYI

Just a reminder to UK voters that the media demands absolute perfection at all times from politicians like Polanski because his policies would be bad for the media’s masters, while politicians like Farage gets away with anything because Farage would be a windfall for the owning class. It is the same story all over the world.

  10. Finally people are starting to see how out of touch with reality he is.

However you feel about the man if you can’t see this is a targeted attack the same way the right wing owned media jumped on Corbyn when he became a credible threat.

Good ole Nige got a five mil golden handjob and hasn’t had anywhere close to the level
    Of backlash.

Funny thing is for all the Green talk of “smears” this was entirely his own fault. Absolutely no need to wade in like he did and it was very revealing character wise. In future I guess they need to keep him much more controlled on social media (assuming his handlers are any better, that is).

The more he speaks the more he comes across as the Liberal version of Nigel Farage.

He’s just another attention whore saying things he knows will get him his much needed attention.

The greens running for the council in my borough don’t have a manifesto, not even a list of key points they’ll look towards for the borough. As much as a manifesto can be a load of political jargon and propaganda, writing something out for your potential constituents to read and understand what you will do is a bare minimum. I can’t help but feel this disorganisation and lack of effort would extend to the cabinet should the Greens ever get in power. The guy made a impactful video that got people talking, it’s been questionable since then. I think for now I’ll be voting for the lesser of two evils until a real contender steps up.

Glad the Greens and Reform keep shooting themselves in the foot. Both different but equally bad

  16. Ok_Net4562 on

I hate how weve developed the “one or the other” american atitude to politics. If you hate reform that shouldnt automatically mean you should like greens.
Green have are and always have been crackers. And reform suck.

There is definitely a pattern forming where people who fail to make it as a sensible LibDem end up making daft decisions at other parties (Zack, Truss). Or is it a rear guard action by the Libdems?

Whole thing is an unforced error from him, proper Corbyn and the nuclear button stuff.

It highlights the tightrope you have to navigate on the left of UK politics to create and maintain the coalition you need to win an election. He felt the need to comment, knowing the supporters would love him acting as a champion for true justice etc, or rather get upset that didn’t.

Maybe he’s spent too much time in the echo chamber already as he didn’t consider the average voter will only see the headline it created instead.

Zack fucked up big time, and I’m sure Reform, the multi-millionaires and billionaires, are wonderfully gleeful.
