      The bullshit about massive retaliation by Russia is just that, bullshit. Even the syphilitic gnome in the Kremlin understands that an attack like that and mass civilian casualties could absolutely *not* be ignored by the west. He does something like that, he risks direct NATO involvement. The greasy little weasel might not be intelligent, but he’s got enough animal cunning to realize that it’s in the interest of his own self- preservation not to follow through.

      As for Ukraine, I hope they hit Russia wherever it hurts them the most. The parade would be symbolic, but of no value militarily. Massive strikes everywhere *else* on ports, refineries, defense industry, etc would make much more sense to me.

      That said, I’m no general, just a Ukrainian Canadian who wants this to end in a victory for Ukraine, hopefully at the soonest possible time to spare any further Ukrainian casualties and damage to property. The Russians I couldn’t really give a shit about at this point, just get out and stay out

      Thinking the US leadership is in any way a good partner right now is sadly wrong. Thankfully Ukrainians know this and are nobody’s fool.
      Sure would hate to see it rain on russia’s parade.

      It makes absolutely no difference whether Ukraine disrupts the parade. Russia will 100% attack Kyiv—as always. So Ukraine can go ahead and disrupt the parade; it makes no difference—aside from being an embarrassment for Putin.

      Please stay away from Putin’s latest pathetic attempt to distort WWII history. The fact of the matter is that the modern Russian fascist state bears as striking a resemblance to Nazi Germany as any government that came to exist since Hitler blew his brains out in his bunker back in 1945. Anyone with a rudimentary understanding of history is aware of this.
