Ludia v komentoch tam taraju picoviny. Podla mna si europan nemysli v amerike ze tam mas extremne chemie kt ta zabiju, skor je problem mnozstvo cukru a soli prisam bohu v kazdej potravine + portion sizes. Tam kludne clovek moze pribrat aj ked si robi jedlo sam a nechape preco

My observations from my work trip to Chicago in 2019:

      – Ultra processed almost everything.

      – Ton of sugar and not even good tasting one.

      – ton of chemicals that are banned in other parts of world or in EU

      – tap water taste like sht/not even drinkable at some places

      – somewhat healthy stuff overpriced against sht stuff

If something changed since then lemme know, Im planning to visit San Francisco next year for project. So i would be happy if things got better.

many of american food and drink additives are illegal in EU

our organic is sometimes really organic

we eat generally less ultra processed foods

we do have some minimal respect for our traditional foods

even those of us who cannot handle spicy still eat garlic and offal

our soft drink are sugary waters, not sirups with some water added

our farm animals are bit better treated in average than in US

so, slovak food culture is still kind of better than american

Added sugar, added sugar everywhere! Can’t buy regular bread.

Well, Slovaks are one of the worst countries when it comes to deaths from cardiovascular diseases. So we might eat more natural and less processed foods but still we don’t eat healthy 😂

    7. Restaurants in the US are better.

Groceries in the US are generally better than in Slovakia. You have to go to supermarket not 7/11 but you will find a lot of healthy and sugar free options.

Fruits and veggies are generally better and cheaper than in Slovakia.

The only bad thing I would say is the obsession of Americans with frozen meals and packaging that feeds whole family for 2 weeks.
