**For context:** In Korea, she left her purse, laptop / iPhone unattended at a cafe, (she either went over to the counter to buy something, or heading outside the premises) and of course during the time she was not there, no one stole her belongings despite them being out in the open.

Sure you can do it. But you will, most like, loose all your stuff when you leave it unattended 😀
