Ehi, amici!

DIGI right now is perceived as the brand others use to lower their prices. Some have realised it’s just better to switch to DIGI but the majority still don’t trust it enough. It will take a long time to actually make a dent. People here will complain about high prices and still continue paying them even if there’s cheaper alternatives.

Internet wise it’s comparable to the rest. TV is alright, it has what the vast majority of people need. Regarding mobile, that’s their Achilles heel. Multiple problems like calls not being connected, random dropouts, etc. Not to mention the somewhat lacklustre of customer service, can be hit or miss. It is much better now however, I always tell people to try it first before making a decision. After all, there’s no loyalty contracts in mobile.

They have years to build trust and fix their current problems.

Edit: I’ve been their client for over a year, I haven’t had any problem. I’ve also helped other family members do the switch and they share the same opinions as me. We’re all happy, especially from a financial perspective.

Yes, people trust it. The service is up and running, and is good. Of course coverage begins with bigger cities and expands with time.

Their internet is very good, their TV interface is basically unusable but for live TV the signal itself is also good. Where it’s touch and go is the mobile network, some people report problems, others not.

But those 3 major companies MEO/NOS/Vodafone have also launched their own brand of cheaper services (UZO/WOO/Amigo) to compete with DIGI and those of course run on their networks which are already established.

    4. Switched both mobile and wired to Digi, so far great speed, great price, no issues

People on Reddit or tech forums don’t represent Portugal. The common citizen used Digi to leverage the renewal of their previous plans with Meo, for example. The service provided by Digi is unreliable outside Lisbon or Porto.

Digi acquired nowo… they are barely growing in revenues. Digi/nowo started at 2.4% of the market and it has 2.6% after a year…

Ebitda structurally negative quarter after quarter

Have to differentiate between mobile and fiber. Fiber is good enough and cheap. The biggest win is that Digi broke the cartel agreement, forcing big three to create low-cost MVNOs. Now you can have NOS at close to Digi prices, packaged as Woo.

I have it both in Spain and Portugal. Prices are unreal. Quality as well, especially internet fiber (my SIM struggles a bit with data outside of the country)

I’m a satisfied customer, both for internet and mobile service.

      Very cheap, very fast.

So tenho pena que a digi móvel funcione muito melhor na Roménia do que em Portugal. Hoje tive 5 chamadas a cair seguidas.
