Why won‘t you just ask in the store?!
3.50/100g and these pieces of meat are probably more than 100g so 3.50 times the grams. or what do you mean?
Edit didn’t see the second photo, maybe because it is about to expire? The date is several days apart which for meat is a lot.
The cheaper one expires tomorrow.
different best-before date, the cheaper ones probably will have to be thrown away on Monday if not sold. that said they should have marked it a bit better
Not the same exp date.
Maybe it was a special offer. (Even if not mentioned)
Just ask or write to coop.
It’s the same cut, but is it the same meat quality?
Different quality meat. One is stuffed with hormones and sh*t from the States, the other is corn fed and massaged on the plains in Japan.
While folks are going on expiration date, I don’t see second label evidence, so maybe it’s portion pricing? A small <500g piece might not sell as easily as a larger cut. Something people likely wouldn’t encounter if they went to a proper butcher instead.
It’s cause of the weight difference
Maybe they changed the pricing. Or the supplier did. Check in a few days what prices you see and report back to us 😀

Welcome to inflation!
they all got different weight bro..
Yah CHF 10 more per kilo on the right. One must be a mistake, probably several were marked with both prices. Obviously take the cheaper one!
Ive never seen a discount for product which is nearing the expiration date by reducing the unit price per weight (they usually slap a red percentage discount sticker on it). I assume its a mistake. I wonder how the other ones in that bin were marked.
