Questa è l’area tra il porto turistico di Limassol e il nuovo porto che ora è sottosviluppata. Cosa ne pensi dei progetti per l’area? Sembra provenire interamente da investimenti privati e non da fondi pubblici

Why would the government spend any funds?
There is no plan, just a lot of useless 3d renders. The city is a mess with no plan whatsoever. It’s depressing.
I am confused what is this gigantic piece of water on the bottom side of the picture(s), if the sea is on the other side. Some kind of artificial lake? Seems unlikely. Are they pretending that dried up “river” from the Polemidia reservoir will look like that?
At least it’s not a 170 km long building 😂
It’s always funny to see that every new project in Cyprus has walking paths that are not in the shade of trees, like if in the summer you could easily walk on concrete under direct sun 😂
Giant building made out of reflective glass, in Cyprus, in 40C summer Cyprus. What ever could go wrong…
How about they instead focus on improving greenery, walkability, public transport and the old towns
Why do we have to keep “modernising” our cities looks-wise instead of embracing and enhancing the architectures that make us unique?
Gives me the ick.
Didn’t even remove the Gemini tag…
Looks exactly like Changsha (China) masterclass by Asymptote.

Meanwhile the streets right next to these horrific structures do not have lights! I went to Limassol recently for a wedding and hit my leg on those poles in the sidewalk.
Looks pretty dope
