Stuff like stats would never matter to the average anima.. ermm Cypriot. It’s practically impossible to re-educate people so they care. Cypriots will keep voting for whoever their family votes for. It’s just how it goes here, always has been.

I haven’t followed Papadouris that closely. Theopemptou is from another planet, he has a lot of know-how and comes across as quite a calm moderate person, much less of a populist than Perdikis. Not the sort of behaviour that gets rewarded unfortunately. Cypriots either vote tribally, or they vote for people who make a lot of noise. Often we vote for the combination, someone from our tribe that makes a lot of noise.
