Apologies for the Mail link! Trump isn’t returning his calls, now Putin is hacking his phone.

    2. MR-DEDPUL on

In order to help reduce waiting times, the FSB has agreed to help the UK government carry out vetting checks for MPs and other elected officials.

    3. Duanedoberman on

So the *Gift* is not the issue, rather how it was revealed?

Reminds you of how Trump is trying to hide the Epstien fallout.

    4. Heuchelei on

Why would Russia hack the phone of one of their assets? He even used to be employed by the Russian government. He’s talking shite.

    5. Old_Shake3789 on

He’s in the shit suddenly so it’s “Oh please pity me”

    6. Electrical_Business2 on

Potentially true, the MAGAsphere does seem to cooled on him a little, maybe they’ve lost patience with him and want to parachute in another shill🤷‍♂️

    7. Ignoring the Russian link, who cares who leaked it. It’s still a £5m bung.

    8. AxiosXiphos on

He is not sorry he took a bribe, he is just sorry we found out.

    9. ArchdukeToes on

Why would they leak this information when they could use it to blackmail him? The only situation I could think of would be if he had something much _worse_ going on and they leaked this as a warning shot.

    10. Hurri-Kane93 on

Poor Nige, first he upset his handlers in Washington DC which resulted in Trump boycotting him when Farage went on his pilgrimage to Mar-a-Lago a couple of months ago… and now he’s upset his handlers in Moscow 😢

    11. CaptMelonfish on

So he’s saying he didn’t want us to find out? Well that makes it all better for sure…

    12. Warm_Bug_1434 on

Even if true*, that’s just an excellent reason why we don’t want senior politicians who try to conceal enormous sums of money given to them. It makes them vulnerable to blackmail by hostile states.

*Not that I think it is true. Lying is his standard way to get our of trouble. When criticised for not holding surgeries, he lied that he’d been instructed not to. When criticised for not doing vetting properly, he said he would sue the company that had stitched him up. That was a lie. He didn’t even do anything to improve vetting.

    13. Illustrated-Society on

Bit of a betrayal then isn’t it Nigel… Or maybe thats the plan… guys a Russian Shill ffs.

    14. Diligent-Till-8832 on

And this is the fool some of you want as PM?

The stories get more tall by the fucking day……

    15. AnakinsAngstFace on

“Hey I was dishonest but I have been wronged by the person who found out about it”, is pretty typical of a narcissist.

    16. icantbearsed on

What a very strange way of trying to garner public sympathy!?

This is 100% pure distraction, which strongly suggests they are panicking because they know they’ve fucked up.

    17. ItsFuckingScience on

Funny how right now there’s headline articles in the U.K. sub one about how Burnham is linked to building on green belt (shock horror) and the other is Farage receiving millions of pounds of dodgy money

Politicians all bad as one another though am I right? /s

    18. TheChattyRat on

Ahh well he’s a national security threat if his corruption can be outed by a foreign state so easy so he can forget about being pm.

    19. cedarvhazel on

Oh so it should have remained a secret and Farrage is upset you got “hacked” but the bribe is ok?

    20. Disillusioned_Pleb01 on

So… how many more gifts have been received, but not leaked or reported??

    21. limeflavoured on

What bollocks. He’s just trying anything to take the heat off the fact that he took £5m off a cryto billionaire

    22. TheChattyRat on

Basically “whatever gets you to stop asking questions that’s what happend, yeah?”

    23. Agreeable_Falcon1044 on

I will take things that didn’t happen for 500 please

    24. happenedtoyoureye on

Farage is never shy about playing the victim card. Whether it’s this, a milkshake or stone thrown at him, being debanked ect.

Yet he suspiciously never once mentioned he had an incendiary device put through his letterbox until he was looking for a cover story about needing that £5 million for security……. before backtracking and claiming it was just a gift anyway.

    25. Unusual-Art2288 on

. Im sceptical. I must admit. Had the phone bern checked by a people we can actully trust

    26. Brave_Ring_1136 on

So he would not have volunteered the information otherwise, corruption plain and simple

    27. BellendicusMax on

How many stories for his bribe are we on now?

      He was bribed. That’s it.

    28. DXTRBeta on

It’s that fish-faced fascist fiscally fraudulent fuck -again!

It was the Russians you say?

Don’t piss off your paymasters too much, or you won’t be getting any more bungs.

    29. Striking_Spinach_376 on

So I’m hearing here that Russia is more likely to tell me the truth about Farage’s bribes than him? This wasn’t the home run I think he thought it was

    30. Prisoner3000 on

This is what Steve Bannon calls “Flooding the zone” which involves pumping out all sorts of contradictory information no matter how implausible. Soon, people will be arguing over whether Farage’s phone was or wasn’t hacked rather than the main story which is that Farage took a five million pound bribe from a crypto billionaire based in Thailand, just before reversing his decision to not stand as an MP

    31. NotoriusPCP on

Is this the same Farage who claimed someone loosened his wheels nuts to kill him and then retracted the claim after the slightest bit of scrutiny?

It’s almost as if he’s a persistent liar who’ll say anything for money, spin or attemtion.

    32. realmbeast on

Doesn’t fucking matter by whom or how it was leaked. Corrupt money is corrupt money and needs scrutinizing. Crying because it was leaked just makes you sound less apathetic to the situation. God help us if he is ever an inch from our public funds and treasury

    33. FreakshowMode on

Farage is just whining because he got caught. The fact remains, that in order for criminal behaviour to be leaked, it has to have happened in the first place.

The man is a parasite who, if given the opportunity, will ‘pull a Trump’ on the UK and weaponise every aspect of our society against itself so he can later monetise it and fund his retirement island.

    34. saddest-song on

Reform’s expressed intention, as per their data collection and privacy policy is to “create and maintain a profile for every registered voter in the UK”.

    35. AnyWalrus930 on

When your daddy pays your phone bills it’s not hacking if he checks what’s on there.

    36. Important_Ruin on

Another excuse. Make your mind up Nige.

      Is that not number 4?

    37. Ivan_Dobsky_MD on

That should be “Nigel Farage claims, without evidence…” Which should actually be the headline used most of the time when he claims something.

    38. InspectorDull5915 on

Does Told my mate in Moscow, and he told someone else, mean hacked now?

    39. richardathome on

Just a reminder that Trump tore up the rule of law and started wars as a distraction from him personal “dealings.”

Now imagine Far Right Farage as PM…

    40. Acceptable_Gear_3097 on

If this was true, then Russia’s doing more to protect UK’s itnerests than MI5….and I somehow doubt that.

    41. Hellstorm901 on

Why would Russia need to hack it, they have the receipt

    42. LostTheGameOfThrones on

I don’t care who the fuck leaked it, the problem is the fucking £5 million gift itself.
