Armenia has strengthened the defense forces since the 2020 war like never before. Even with non-stop Azeri weapons acquisitions, Armenia has actually closed the gap since 2020 war. Objectively speaking, the new government has done tremendous job in closing the military gap with Azerbaijan. Kudos to them. Also, the medium term trend heavily favors Armenia as Armenia’s GDP grows much faster than that of azerbaijan. Moreover, the AI data center will indirectly further strengthen deterrence against azerbaijan. Time is on Armenia’s side now. Unless azerbaijan diversifies its economy, in the long term Armenia could surpass Azerbaijan in nominal GDP. To remind readers, Armenia’s GDP per Capita is already higher than that of azerbaijan even with azerbaijan pumping oil and gas out of the ground. Well done to the new government. You gotta give credit when credit is due.
