One of my colleagues lives here, and when he told me about the island I was fascinated. No cars or bicycles allowed, only one ambulance and one police car for the whole island. You can walk around the whole island in a few hours or so.
I also dove deeper into the history especially through WWII and it’s crazy that the allies tried to bomb the island out of existence with the largest non-nuclear explosion of the time.
