Unfortunately I know of two people who the trust has helped, such a fantastic organisation. Both people were flown back from Australia, these flights can cost between €50k and €100k.

The most incredible organisation who brought two of my friends home, we will never forget their impact. Wishing them a restful retirement and long may the good work continue

      These people are fuckin saints.
Amazing work for very vulnerable people, people being helped in their worst moment….

    4. They’ve done exceptional work and I hope the parents get to have some time for themselves now (says they’re stepping down, but the family are going to continue running it) as I imagine this has been ridiculously hectic for them.

The most selfless people! May they have a happy retirement

The work this couple have done and their charity continues to do is invaluable. May they enjoy along and happy healthy retirement together.

They’re incredible people. It’s true when they say there isn’t a parish they haven’t touched. I’ve seen them help my community and judging by the comments here, many of you have had the same experience.

I lived in NY the same time as Kevin, and the day he passed he was actually sitting on our stoop chatting and joking with us. We were going out in the city and he was heading out in the bronx. Madness. Didn’t know him well but from what I did know of him, he was a lovely boy. His parents are absolute saints. It’s an amazing thing to do. 🤍

Great people! That looks like a proper charity in the truest sense.
I assume the government contribute nothing to this one though?

The Bell’s are wonderful people. To take your own personal unimaginable heartbreak and turn it into something so positive is a quality that not too many people have.

They have created a wonderful legacy in their son’s name, and done a kindness for many families and communities across the country. I hope they have a lovely, enjoyable and peaceful retirement.

Echoing what everyone else has said here, a friend of mine (and many friends of friends) have been brought home by this charity and it’s not just what they do, but how they do it. One call to the charity, they asked the name, date of birth, and whether the family knew where the deceased was at the time, and they took care of the rest. Humbling to hear them speak of their son and the journey they have been on. Wishing them every health and peace in their retirement

Every time I’ve seen the Bells interviewed, they just come across as so classy.

Got dealt a fucking horrible hand with the death of their son and they channeled all that emotion into helping others.

      God bless them.

They are amazing (having dealt with them
personally). Most communities organise a fundraiser for them which ‘pays it forward’. It’s better than a Go Fund Me because the families don’t feel like a charity case (and often make a personal donation), the community can show support to the family and the charity and other families benefit. It’s a brilliant model and an incredible support at the most challenging time. Wishing them both the very best in their retirement

The good couple of folks brought back many hundreds of people back home to Ireland, they also had a £1m win on the lotto back in 2017, pure chance or divine intervention from above?
