Due ragazzi, appena 18enni, sono finiti sott’acqua in un fiume a Huittinen. Uno è stato salvato, ma l’altro è annegato.
Il ragazzo morto era uno studente iraniano di 18 anni che studiava finlandese.
Le persone che non hanno mai imparato a nuotare a volte sopravvalutano la propria capacità di galleggiare o nuotare.
Se hai un amico che non sa nuotare o riesce a malapena a restare a galla, non andare a nuotare con lui. Se sono loro a suggerirlo, dissuadeteli.

This is from last year, swimming skills of children in Finland are drastically declining.

These cases make me so insanely sad.
Drowning can happen to anyone anytime.
Was swimming in lake once and big wave went straight in my mouth and in lungs.
It was horrible to try stay on surface while coughing your lungs out.
