      Same happened to me the other week with dental floss from Tesco, only realised when I got home it’d been opened and used.

      Ohh happened to me with one of the NYX lip stains. I grabbed one which wasn’t a tester and wasn’t until the next day when I had to use it that I saw it was already open.

      Long ago when I worked in the murky world of retail, a dude took a shoe polish( the ones with the sponge in top) opened it and preceded to give his shoes a quick polish and put it back on the shelf. He was then pissy when I told him he had to buy it( 99c!!) . 🤦

      I thought the video of the guy jumping into a pool and slamming his head on the edge would be the most horrifying thing I’ve seen today. But now I know there is someone out there using the foot files in the store!

      They didn’t, it’s from people’s rubbing it with their finger/thumb. The packaging very obviously invites you to touch it.

      I have the exact same one and you barely have to look at it and it removes as much skin as shown in the picture. I did the exact thing pictured while in Boots myself when buying it.

      Had a customer return a razor they’d “just bought” and didn’t want, we found out later they just put their manky old one in the box and kept the new one, dirty fucker walked away with a refund on it.

      That’s people’s fingers doing that I’ve the longer version and if you touch it, it will do that, Still Rank though but it’s a very good feet 👣 file lol
