Qualcuno può aiutarmi a identificare a quale organizzazione partigiana o unità militare polacca potrebbe appartenere il mio bisnonno? Era un polacco della zona di Tarnopol (Ternopil). Ecco due foto del periodo della Seconda Guerra Mondiale.

They must have been very succesful, because they have a STG44 in the second photo, the very first assault rifle in history. Very rare for an AK unit to have.

Its hard to identify the uniforms from that photos but if he was a polish partisant he was propably in AK as most of the organizations that existed decided to join them so thet could be stronger i wonder tho from where did they get the stg 44 as it was rare to find on the battlefield for a partisant
